Balance

Not my first class, don’t believe I miss any ever.

Loved the class as usual. I look forward to all your classes, and any other ones you wish to start new. Thank you Master Del Corro for doing this, and thanks Grand Master as well. Please include me in anything you two come up with now or in the future.

The one legged balancing stuff is still challenging to me. I do it, and lose my balance now and then, and sometimes need to balance against a wall although not always leaning on the wall. Might be the inner ear issues I had for the last year and the vertigo that’s been hard to get over, some days I feel I have the balance in me and others I’m wavering around like I’m in a hurricane. Lol

Nothing to improve, the pace is fantastic and you are very thorough in your explanations. And I love your counting and losing track, makes me laugh and of course shows we can have some fun as well.

I absolutely love all the classes!

I absolutely love all the classes! I have suffered from various injuries and misalignments, doing this kind of workout is good for my whole body, mind and spirit. If you are looking for a full body workout and a deeper understanding of using the power of breath to heal yourself then these classes are perfect for you!

I was able to do the class

Not being familiar with exercise I thought it would drag on, IT DIDN'T at all!!!! I was able to do the class, half of the exercises were more challenging for me. Make sure you get the right height chair (not tall). Great instructions.

Ruby is a Master of her craft.

I watched Master Del Corro, teach a Skill Class that was so physically demanding the students could barely keep up. After the class she told me that she had been having an asthma attack. Her control was such that she not only completed the class herself, but none of her students knew she was having an asthma attack. This is the power of the Breathing Arts in practice.

Making time for stretching is really important for us and we really enjoy doing your effective stretching techniques.

We personally find ourselves challenged every time because you always work different muscles(every class is different) and encourage us to put in maximum effort without hurting ourselves.

Breathing Arts and the Strength and Stretch classes

I’ve attended every class you have held and enjoyed them all.

I actually loved every moment of the two classes I took again tonight. I find the breathing arts and the strength and stretch classes actually work well together for a very good well thought out exercise hour. In both classes the moves from one to the next create a fast paced great workout.

I find in all the classes you have that if you take it upon yourself to make sure you do the exercises to the best of your abilities, and follow the instructions closely, that they all can be challenging in a fun way. For example, I am not as flexible yet as I’d like to be, but if I push myself to the point just shy of hurting myself, I’m getting a little better every day. And breath in and breath out with movement is of course wonderful if you take that seriously and do it correctly as well. Expanding and contracting while slowly breathing in and out by itself is so good for us all, it’s something I do when I meditate, when I need to relax, when I am in pain, or have any health issues or other problems that come our way. It’s something I learned many many years ago to do and it’s helped me deal with some pretty tough circumstances in my life. And I love the fact that the breath is so important to you and within these classes, it’s one of the reasons when I looked for a martial arts studio to go back to after more then 40 years that I chose Kung Fu for Life, and certainly became one of the reasons I want to continue to stay with them and with your Breathing Arts Classes and any other classes you or Grand Master allow me to take with you. It’s fun, it’s a great workout, and I look forward to each and every class.

I know I need to work on my balance and my stretching for my continued studies with Kung Fu, and attending these classes, as well as the Yoga class I take online everyday, is certainly beneficial to my overall health and improvement in this wonderful martial art.

Breathing Arts is a very well-rounded form of exercise and provides great mental strength. Meditation and guided breathing have been shown to help control conditions such as stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, high blood pressure, cardiac disease, and more. The stretching helps increase blood flow to the muscles, improves posture, reduces back pain, and improves mechanical performance.

The guided breathing and optimistic attitude that Master Del Corro brings to every class not only brightens your day, but also facilitates relaxation. All the classes are unique and you get to determine your level of difficulty. It’s always a great time to start!

I joined because I need to work on cardio

Cardio is a challenge for me. I joined because I need to work on cardio, it is my weakness. The only way to improve is to practice. When I am struggling and my technique is diminished I slow down and concentrate only on technique and only do what I can.

Fluid Motion is one of my favorite classes so far. I really enjoy the slow motion. I feel I can work and concentrate on my technique much more than when we go fast. I also enjoy the isokinetic. I struggle with high intensity. I know many students enjoy high intensity and I realize it is an important part of the art. I enjoy this much better though.

I really worked on core breathing throughout which caused me to sweat and intensified my work out. I do find standing on one leg for too long challenging so I switched legs.

I would improve my techniques I am sure this will come

I have zero critique of any of the seven classes I have participated in so far. Wonderful and I look forward to each one, including the on demand ones I've been doing on the days when there is not a live class. Please don't change anything regarding the classes; I think they are perfect as is and I love the scenery too at Christina Lake. Kung fu practice is always uplifting but wow the scenery in the current videos really adds to the experience (I forget I'm in my basement).

I do think the website LOOKS great; I've just had some issues with functionality on my end but not a deal breaker as I've learned now how to line up my next class and cue up the on demand videos (love love love them...so worth it and I'm going to have another right now).

My wife and I LOVE all the online classes so far and please don't change a thing regarding the format. Such a breath of fresh air to tune in and follow Master Del Corro again after a very painful spring of no kung fu classes!

Pushing the core breathing to the max.

I knew the class would be great. Excellent class. Pushing the core breathing to the max.

The presentation was perfect. Explanation, picture quality, and sound all excellent.

Were there things that were too challenging? None whatsoever.

Not a lot of room for improvement from my point of view.

What I like the most every time I receive teachings from Master Del Corro and Grand Master Piercey is not only their complete mastery of the art but most importantly their unsurpassed ability to communicate their teachings in a manner that is not only motivational but with such kindness. Skill alone does not a Master make. Grand Master Piercey & Master Del Corro are true Masters at every level.

My balance, flexibility and strength have improved

I am attending all of Ruby’s classes. Her extensive teaching experience shines through as she leads the class in a smooth, simple, fun and relaxing way. I have particularly enjoyed the breathing class as in general, most of us need to learn to breathe properly. From a technical and scientific perspective, her progressions in both the Fluid Motion and Stretch and Strengthen classes are fundamentally sound, safe and effective. I also appreciate how students can participate at levels appropriate for them, and get as much from the class as they desire. My balance, flexibility and strength have improved, a few lingering physical problems have improved, and the breathing class has benefits throughout the day.

I have overcome injury, health issues ...

I have been training with Master Del Corro for nearly 7 years, starting at the age of 41. I continue to learn the power of the breath, Kung Fu, and the knowledge of a Master of her class through my training. For me her talent and continued pursuit as a Master translate into what I believe is a transformation journey. I have overcome injury, health issues and experienced great joy from all of my practices with her. I love the experience and highly recommend it to people of all ages and abilities.

I sleep very well at night after

I've attended a few classes now.

The repetition of 30 times really works. The pace is really good so you can focus on what you are doing all the time. I just love your classes, I sleep very well at night after I concentrate in the class and follow it.

The reason I joined is to get connected.

Don't change a thing. It works for me the way it is.
